Rebecca Carr is the CEO at SmartRecruiters. With over 17 years of experience in recruiting software, Rebecca brings a deep understanding and passion for the space, supported by roles in product development, pre-sales, and solutions architecture. Rebecca’s journey to CEO of SmartRecruiters started in 2014, holding different positions including SVP Platform, VP Product Development, and VP Solutions Consulting. She rejoined SmartRecruiters in July 2023 after two years at Checkr, where she was the GM for Checkr Pay, Checkr's earned wage access product, and Chief of Staff to the CEO. This experience is added to earlier roles leading global product teams at Jobvite, Branchout, and mobile game development at Playdom (acquired by Disney in 2010).

When not in the office, Rebecca is a triathlete, mom of 2 little girls, and loves spending time on her pilates reformer. She attended the University of California – Berkeley and Harvard Business School and lives outside of Boston, MA. Rebecca graduated from Boston University Academy in 2004.
